Never worry about losing water during a power outage again. The Model 1784 Well Pump Sentry automatically keeps your well pump running when the lights go out so your home, family, and daily routine stay uninterrupted.
When utility power fails, the Model 1784 draws energy from a battery bank to convert it to AC power necessary for pump operation. With the return of utility power, the Model 1784 automatically restores the pump to operating from the AC utility. It also reinitiates the recharging of the battery bank to return it to full capacity in preparation for the next power outage.
Built as a complete, all-in-one emergency backup system, the Model 1784 delivers dependable power to single-phase 240VAC well pumps up to 1.5 horsepower. Its rugged design and intelligent operation provide peace of mind through every storm, blackout, or grid failure.
Engineered for Dependable Performance
The 1784 System is comprised of an inverter, power transfer switch, and a three- stage automatic battery charger, working together to provide seamless, maintenance- free backup power.
Power input connections to the 1784 Well Pump Sentry include both an AC voltage input from the utility and a DC voltage input from a dedicated battery bank. Designed for versatility, the 1784 can be mounted horizontally or vertically and is capable of powering single-phase motors with ease.
When utility power is lost, the 1784 Well Pump Sentry automatically takes over, drawing energy from the battery bank to keep your well pump running, often providing several days of water supply before recharging is needed. Once utility power is restored, the system automatically replenishes the battery bank, ensuring it’s fully charged and ready for the next outage.
The Model 1784 Well Pump Sentry operates completely unattended, automatically transitioning between utility and standby power. No manual intervention required!
General Application
- To determine compatibility with pump: User should verify that the well pump operates from 210-260 VAC utility power and draws a continuous supply of no more than 8A from the power source.
- Additional Deepcycle Marine or LiFePO4 Batteries Required – Sold Separately
- The user must supply a 24V battery bank consisting of at least 2 batteries connected in series. A battery cable set used to
interconnect the batteries comes with each Model 1784. - The battery bank is expandable to increase the longevity of the backup electrical supply.
